Purem by Eberspächer’s mission is to advance clean and quiet mobility, specializing in exhaust aftertreatment and acoustic systems. When the company encountered the task of automating the transfer of completed exhaust systems from the production site to the shipping area, along with the need to replace existing tugger trains and integrate numerous production facilities, idealworks stepped in. The goal was to optimize processes using the intelligent automation platform AnyFleet, utilize existing inventory, and manage mixed traffic with manual processes within a proven three-shift operation.  

At the exhaust technology specialist’s plant in Neunkirchen, idealworks introduced a cutting-edge solution: Eight iw.hubs, each equipped with dollies, streamline the transportation of large-load carriers from production to shipping. Moreover, AnyFleet provides a range of optimization and monitoring features. Future projects at the Neunkirchen site, in which both companies/institutions/organizations/project partners will collaborate closely, are also in the pipeline for the upcoming months. 

In the Czech town of Rakovník, Purem by Eberspächer also aimed to automate the delivery and retrieval processes for its seven production lines. To leverage cross-site insights and synergies, idealworks collaborated with Purem by Eberspächer to develop a customized dolly and hardware solution, enabling efficient navigation in narrow pathways. 

Meanwhile, the idealworks solution encompasses ten AMRs across two sites, with AnyFleet for centralized control and optimization.
